The United States Congress is the legislative branch of the RxUSA government, consisting of two chambers: the Senate and the House of Representatives. Congress is responsible for drafting, debating, and enacting legislation.
The U.S. Senate
The Senate has 100 constitutional seats and is the upper chamber of Congress. Senators serve on standing committees, confirm presidential appointments, ratify treaties, and conduct oversight of the executive branch.
The House of Representatives
The House has 435 seats and is the lower chamber of Congress. Representatives introduce revenue bills, exercise the sole power of impeachment, and work through committees to advance legislation.
Committees & Legislation
Both chambers maintain standing, select, and joint committees that conduct hearings, draft bills, and report legislation to the full chamber. Legislative measures — bills, resolutions, and amendments — are tracked and publicly viewable on this portal.
